Marketing & Communications Intern

Visit Shreveport-Bossier is seeking an energetic and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to support the organization’s marketing initiatives and gain hands-on experience in destination marketing. Research and assist with writing press releases, blog posts, and editorial content for Visit Shreveport-Bossier websites. Assist with the development and scheduling of social media and digital marketing content. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for special events or media opportunities. Interns completing this program gain valuable experience in tourism marketing and public relations while building a portfolio of professional work; including writing samples, digital content, and campaign support that can be used to pursue future careers in marketing, tourism, and communications.
