Marketing Communications Intern

The Marketing & Communications Intern will provide support for messaging, branding, and communications across all channels, including but not limited to the website, print, and social media. They will assist the Marketing & Communications Team with content creation, digital communications, outreach, and marketing tasks that help promote organizational programs, community engagement, and impact. Assist with the creation, editing, scheduling, and posting of digital content for social media and other communication channels, including graphics, photos, videos, and promotional materials. Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the organization's mission.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Additional experience may be considered in place of education.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including attention to detail, grammar, and professional communication.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships with staff, community members, and partners.Basic understanding of marketing, communications, public relations, and social media best practices.Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.Experience creating digital content, including graphics, photography, video, or written content for social media, websites, or other communication channels.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Experience with Canva required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and website content management systemsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when handling sensitive information.Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
