Marketing & Communications Manager

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $65,000.00 AnnuallyPeddler's Village, recently voted the #1 Shopping Center in the country by USA Today, is in search of a Marketing & Communications Manager!The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for providing support to the department and to Peddler’s Village operations by creatively and administratively contributing to strategy development, social media, media and public relations, advertising, metrics reporting and analysis, and information systems management.What you will doSupport the Director of Sales & Marketing on all marketing-related activities, including social media, the development and implementation of promotional materials, website and blog content, mobile app, e-blasts, advertising plans and placement, press releases, media lists, photography, videography, and metrics/results reporting, and influencers.Support short-term marketing, long-term marketing, and overall branding objectives by developing online content strategyWork with creative services manager to monitor and update website content, including blog posts, on five sites: Peddler’s Village, Golden Plough Inn, Giggle berry Fair, Earl’s New American, and Buttonwood GrillCoordinate with PV management/marketing team and merchants for content for social media and eblastsCreate content (copy and images/video) for, make connections on, monitor, and provide responses as appropriate on all Peddler’s Village social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, You Tube, Snapchat, Tik Tok, and othersCreate, manage and monitor activity on ads on social media channelsMonitor, update, and maintain Peddler’s Village’s mobile appMonitor and update profiles and images for Peddler’s Village and all of its operations/businesses on Trip Advisor, Google My Business, Open Table, Yelp, Visit Bucks County, Visit Philly, and other online platformsCreate and distribute press releases as requiredUpload events to various external online calendars as required (Visit Bucks County, Philly Fun Guide, Bucks County Alive, METRO, Patch, Delaware River Towns, etc. )Support festival initiatives and operations as required, including sponsorship sales and supportConduct market research as requiredParticipate in regular/weekly meetings related to marketingCreate copy for and/or review, copyedit, and proof marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistencyMonitor, record, and prepare monthly reports on earned publicityMaintain a master marketing calendar and communicate deadlines with staff membersMaintain a central archive of printed materials for institutional useSupport community relations efforts (i.e. donations, etc. )Assist in processing vendor invoices for approval and paymentWhat you should haveBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fieldExcellent writing and communications skills, with exceptionally strong attention to detail and proofreadingExperience in managing Word Press websitesExperience in representing businesses/organizations on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media channelsSuccess in boosting engagement and building followers on social media by producing creative contentExperience in creating videos for social mediaUnderstanding of copyright laws and commitment to securing permissions before sharing material not owned by Peddler’s VillageFamiliarity with website and social media analytics analysis and reportingAbility to work independently as well as with a variety of teams and effectively handle multiple projects with a constant eye on deadlines and budgetsCapacity to interact with colleagues, merchants, and Peddler’s Village guests in a polished, professional mannerStrong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Experience with Meltwater, Mail Chimp, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and/or other similar programs.Candidates must be available on select weekends and evenings to attend/cover festivals and other events.What you will receiveExcellent benefit package, including medical, dental and vision insurances, company paid life insurance, 401K with company match, generous PTO, shopping and dining discounts, and more!Please send a press release you created and/or a writing sample along with your resume.Thank you for considering Peddler's Village while searching for your next career opportunity!
