The position is responsible for developing and executing public relations strategies, managing social media presence, and serving as a liaison to the media. • Create, publish, and monitor appropriate and engaging media content across the department’s social media platforms. • Monitor public sentiment; use that information to provide insight and recommendations to the department’s administration to guide communication strategies. • A degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field is preferred. • Knowledge of principles and best practices of public relations, social media management, and community engagement.
