The leadership team has built a significant ecosystem of relationships across technology, policy, investment, research, media, and advocacy. This person will help systematically activate those relationships using established processes, messaging, and tools.You Will:Maintain and activate a structured contact database in Hub Spot, ensuring contacts are organized, segmented, and ready for outreachExecute structured and sequenced outreach campaigns across key audience groups using established messaging and outreach frameworksTrack outreach activity, responses, follow-ups, and relationship status within Hub SpotIdentify responses and engagement that warrant leadership attention and coordinate appropriate follow-upHelp manage the production and distribution calendar for the organization's biweekly newsletterSupport outreach for sponsored newsletter opportunities, including identifying warm prospects and moving conversations forwardTrack sponsorship conversations and consistently follow up on outstanding opportunitiesAmplify newsletter and sponsored content through Linked In and other relevant channelsCompile basic performance metrics including open rates, impressions, and click-throughsResearch relevant media, podcast, event, panel, and speaking opportunitiesDraft and send concise outreach and pitch emails using the organization's established messaging and voiceMaintain organized trackers for media, event, sponsorship, and relationship outreach and coordinate logistics as neededYou Have:1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, outreach, relationship management, or a related areaExperience working with a CRM, ideally Hub Spot, with an understanding of using CRM data to drive outreach and manage relationshipsExperience with email outreach, including segmentation, sequencing, follow-ups, and adapting existing messagingStrong written communication skills with the ability to write polished, concise emails and short-form copyExcellent organization and follow-through with the ability to work independently in a part-time environmentComfort working in a small, fast-moving organization where you can take ownership of executionFamiliarity with Google Sheets and maintaining accurate contact and outreach dataExperience with newsletter platforms such as Substack or Mailchimp is a plusExperience with Linked In content amplification and social media scheduling is a plusBackground in policy communications, advocacy, technology PR, nonprofit marketing, media outreach, or editorial pitching is a plusLogistics:Start Date/Duration: Starting ASAP for an initial 3-month contract with potential to extendHours/Week: Approximately 15 Hours/Week, potentially increasing to 20 Hours/WeekOnsite/Offsite: Fully RemoteLaptop/Software Requirements: Working on your own laptop and softwareHourly Pay Rate: $35/HourOur client is seeking a part-time Marketing & Communications Contractor to help activate an established network of relationships, execute…
