Position Overview

The Marketing Consultant develops and manages relationships with local and regional businesses while identifying opportunities to help clients achieve their marketing and business objectives.

This role serves as a trusted marketing advisor, developing customized, multi-platform advertising strategies that combine traditional and digital media to deliver measurable results. Success is built on developing new business, growing existing client relationships, and consistently achieving revenue goals through outstanding customer service and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, community involvement, and strategic outreach. Build lasting relationships with local business owners and key decision-makers. Discover client goals, challenges, target audiences, and competitive landscape to develop customized marketing strategies. Present integrated advertising solutions utilizing Lazer Media's full portfolio of products and services. Recommend marketing campaigns that may include radio advertising, streaming audio, digital display, social media advertising, search marketing, websites, connected TV (CTV), video advertising, events, and sponsorships. Negotiate and close new business while maintaining long-term client partnerships. Manage an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue goals. Collaborate with creative, digital, programming, and campaign fulfillment teams to ensure successful execution of client campaigns. Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, proposals, and sales activity. Continue developing expertise in advertising, marketing, consumer trends, and emerging media solutions.

Qualifications

Required

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Preferred

Outside sales, media, advertising, marketing, or digital sales experience. Experience prospecting and developing new business. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Compensation

Base Salary: $36,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
