The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the development of our local marketing strategy and publicizing the company to advance recognition of our brand. Job Description: MARKETING MATERIALS / CREATIVE Designs all creative content for advertising materials for both in-house retail & service promotions, and outside advertising, generally using Canva Manages all branded and co-branded materials for consistency and adherence to brand standard Creates an annual marketing calendar for the spa, highlighting various sales areas on a monthly basis Creates retail displays to showcase products for sale Decorates each spa location for seasonal promotions such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day Father's Day, Halloween & Thanksgiving SOCIAL & OTHER MEDIA Posts on a daily and more as needed basis to social media. Collaborates with the Leadership team to enhance promotional opportunities that will increase business and revenue Directs and manages community relations strategy Researches, identifies and capitalizes on new market opportunities Works with corporate affiliates on cross-promotional initiatives Actively markets our corporate chair massage and spa services to local companies Maintains a relationships with local hotel and bed & breakfast owners/concierge to gain referrals for in-room massage needs & coordinates fulfillment of opportunities with the Guest Services Coordinator Fosters relationships with wellness coordinators of local companies to drive new event opportunities Researches new opportunities for participation in trade shows, wellness fairs, festivals and clinics PROMOTIONAL EVENTS Serves as the main point of contact for corporate wellness and community events from inquiries to booking through event day Leads event planning meetings and event evaluations Supervises all aspects of planning and execution of event logistics including set-up, tear-down, registration, audio-visual, food and beverage Manages staff and all client needs on event day as primary event manager Orders and maintains all event and meeting supplies Creates floor plans and general timelines for each event Takes/collects photos from events and trade shows RECORD KEEPING Coordinates and maintains internal staff donations of services Prepares past, current, and future calendars of events scheduled Logs all missed opportunities to discuss in Leadership meetings Prepares monthly/yearly revenue reports Develops and manages the marketing budget/forecast/contracts/financials Creates periodic goals for marketing efforts to reach company goals Maintains statistical records of success of all marketing efforts, including monthly social media statistics, event statistics, and outside advertising statistics.
