Role: Marketing Coordinator

Organization: Oregon National Guard, Work for Warriors (Salem)

Pay: $31.93 per hour, total compensation (includes health & welfare)

Location: On site at Anderson Readiness Center, 3225 State Street, Salem, Oregon, with occasional travel around Oregon for events (costs reimbursed). This is not a remote role.

Time Commitment: Full time, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, except 11 Federal holidays.

Start Date: September 2026 (timing can be flexible based on candidate availability)

Other Details: This role is the program's voice online and in print: it makes members aware of the help, and employers aware of the talent. Computer and design software are provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Create social media posts for the program — at least fifteen a month — plus the graphics and artwork that go with them

Write a monthly newsletter for members and one for employers

Keep the program's website current, and design flyers and banners for job fairs and Guard events

Draft press releases and a yearly marketing plan for leadership approval

Keep the program's contact database clean and current, working with the two employment coordinators

Work for Warriors helps Guard members and veterans find civilian jobs. It only works if people know it exists — that is this role.

The role suits someone who can write clearly, design something people stop to look at, and hit a posting schedule every month without being chased.

This job depends on 10XG being awarded the contract.
