The Marketing Coordinator for Alaska Collection will support the TAC & larger Pursuit marketing teams in the coordination of marketing activities that will drive visitation and revenue growth at TAC. The position is based in Anchorage, Alaska and reports directly to the Marketing Manager, Alaska. ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES Support the Manager, Marketing in Alaska Collection, and the larger Pursuit marketing team, ensuring each line of business within Alaska achieves their revenue targets. Execution in-market collateral and signage plans. U pdate go-to-market strategies and promotional events with a focus on priority businesses, new activations and guest journey touchpoints in Alaska. ​ Support the digital team in collecting and generating content for the Pursuit website and other digi t al communications ( as directed ) Help manage the storage of marketing assets including images, electronic files and creative archive library within our digital asset management system. Support the M arketing Manager in Alaska Collection in all other tasks as assigned, i.e. placing local advertising, executing on affiliate marketing initiatives, managing small creative projects, supporting business month-end administrative tasks, organizing asana and the marketing forms etc. Support the social media and content marketing teams by collecting content in the form of photo and video, as well as identify new content opportunities. Assist with the implementation of media and influencer marketing visits. This may include on-site hosting, as required. Align priorities with counterparts in Revenue team, Operations Team and Senior Leadership Team On-the-ground Marketing contact for collaborators ​ Establish process for seasonal accuracy monitoring and updating ​ Coordination of Marketing requests from internal and external stakeholders. Support larger marketing team with in-destination projects for Alaska ( Property Tours, photoshoots, content collection, etc ) ​ REQUIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 1 year marketing experience Excellent written communication and creative writing skills University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Communication, Tourism or Graphic Design an asset Basic understanding of Adobe CS an asset. With emphasis on Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. Competent with social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Youtube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok etc. Familiar with website CMS system s Competent with Microsoft Office ( ie. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) Should have good brand representation judgement Experience with photography and videography an asset Desire to work in a fast-paced organization Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends Ability to work as team but also on your own Valid Drivers’ License Valid Passport (can be obtained post-hire, but will be required ) Ability to travel with overnight stays as needed.
