Elyria Public Library is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to lead our marketing efforts, shape our brand, and connect with the community in exciting and meaningful ways. What You’ll Do • Lead the Marketing & Communications team, supervising staff, managing projects, and fostering professional growth • Produce and edit high-quality communications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistent messaging across all platforms • Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to promote library programs, events, and services • Oversee branding, public relations, newsletters, website content, social media, and community partnerships • Represent the Library at public events and with media outlets • Manage budgets, vendors, and external service providers • Stay ahead of trends in marketing and communication technologies to keep the Library innovative and visible What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations — preferably in non-profit or public organizations • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills • Strong leadership and team management skills • Expertise in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic website management • Strategic thinker with a creative edge and passion for community engagement About Elyria Public Library To Apply:
