The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 – $92,000.
What you will be doing:
This is a marketing leadership role where you’ll own how a large, built-in audience stays connected to and engaged with a brand over time. You’ll be responsible for creating campaigns and experiences that keep people interested, involved, and coming back—whether that’s through content, events, or digital touchpoints. You’ll think strategically about how to build long-term relationships at scale, while also staying close enough to the work to execute and optimize what’s working. This role blends brand marketing, community-building, and lifecycle engagement—giving you the opportunity to shape how people experience and stay connected to an organization well beyond a single transaction. Internally, this position is titled: Director of Alumni Engagement and Marketing Communications
Lead marketing strategy & campaigns
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, social, events, and digital channelsShape the voice, messaging, and storytelling for alumni communicationsUse data and analytics to improve engagement and campaign performanceExplore new tools (including AI) to reach and grow your audienceManage and grow a team
Supervise and mentor team member(s) (minimum 1 direct report)Help prioritize work, develop talent, and improve team performanceStep in as a leader when senior leadership is unavailableCreate engaging experiences

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fieldAt least 1 year of people management experienceExperience building and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channelsStrong storytelling and communication skillsComfort using data to guide decisionsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to attend events (including occasional evenings/weekends and some travel)
