The Proofreader/Copy Editor is responsible for ensuring all texts in materials produced by or for the agency and its clients are grammatically correct, stylistically consistent, and accessible to users. The Proofreader/Copy Editor is required to correct spelling, typographical and grammatical errors (proofreading); confirm style consistency according to a range of client style preferences; check facts; verify hyperlinks in interactive documents; and suggest changes for rewriting (copy editing) where necessary or requested. (Functions primarily those of a Copy Editor are noted with a [C]) •Edits or suggests rewrites to copy as requested by agency staff or clients. •Edits text written by account team or other contributors to ensure consistent client style.
