Marketing & Engagement Specialist

Mountain Sky, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing & Engagement Specialist to join our team! The Marketing & Engagement Specialist’s primary objective is to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention through innovative communication strategies, engaging events, and meaningful activities. This position also oversees website and social media management, develops and executes marketing campaigns, measures performance, and creates compelling content that strengthens the public presence and brand of Mountain Sky, Inc. and its sister company Schilling’s Garden Market.

DUTIES:
Marketing & Customer Engagement

Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and promote the companies’ products, services, and business activities.
Develop innovative, effective, and low-cost approaches to increase sales, expand market reach, and strengthen customer engagement.
Manage and maintain company websites and overall digital presence, ensuring content remains current, accurate, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and manage advertising initiatives across digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and other promotional channels.
Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to strengthen the companies’ social media presence and support organizational goals.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, using performance data to refine strategies and maximize available resources.
Track and analyze relevant sales, customer, and market data to support business operations and provide insights into product and service quality, customer satisfaction, and public perception.
Serve as a liaison between both companies and the local community by developing and implementing community outreach and networking opportunities.
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events and classes. This may include advertising, vendor/participant communication, and community outreach.

Employee Engagement & Retention

Lead and collaborate on the development and implementation of innovative employee engagement activities including milestone celebrations, recognition programs, morale-building activities, and other initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
Develop and administer employee surveys, questionnaires, and other feedback mechanisms to assess employee satisfaction, identify concerns, and gain insights into the overall employee experience.
Collaborate with managers and other departments to conduct regular employee check-ins, identify areas for improvement, develop actionable solutions, and support employee morale, engagement, and retention.
Plan, coordinate, and schedule employee events and initiatives that promote connection, collaboration, and engagement.

Human Resources

Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate and up-to-date new hire and employment documentation.
Coordinate and assist in the completion of onboarding, tax, and other required employment paperwork; ensure employee records are updated promptly and accurately.
Support benefits administration, including processing new hires, terminations, status changes, and other employee updates.
Maintain accurate, confidential, and well-organized employee personnel files in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for routine employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate personnel.
Coordinate background checks and employee eligibility verifications, including motor vehicle records (MVR) checks and pre-employment drug screenings.
Manage uniform distribution, inventory, and reordering to ensure employees have the appropriate uniforms and supplies in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of professional marketing experience (or equivalent experience in a related field)
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or another relevant field.
Willing to participate in a drug-free work environment.
Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Microsoft Office.
Experience creating and coordinating marketing content, including social media, email campaigns, website copy, presentations, and promotional materials.
Ability to analyze marketing performance data and use insights to improve campaigns.
Experience managing marketing budgets, timelines, vendors, and external partners.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, make data-informed decisions, and adapt strategies when needed.
Experience using KPIs and measurable results to evaluate effectiveness.
Ability to proactively analyze issues and implement corrective measures.
Willing to work weekends as needed.
Graphic design experience (preferred)
Bilingual - Spanish and English (preferred)
