Marketing Event Assistant

Hours: 15-20 hours per week with flexibility for weekends

Overview: The Carlson Law Firm is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to assist with our upcoming events and marketing initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and community outreach within a dynamic and supportive law firm environment. This is an in-person position requiring 15-20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Event Assistance:
Assist with setup and breakdown of firm and Carlson Cares events, including booths, signage, and materials
Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution and a positive experience for attendees
Help coordinate event logistics such as supplies, materials, and basic scheduling needs
Sponsorship & Community Support:
Assist with coordination of sponsorships, including communication, materials, and event preparation
Help organize and prepare items for events such as swag, signage, and supplies
Assist with documenting events for promotional materials
Administrative Support:
Maintain organized records of events, sponsorships, and materials
Assist in preparing marketing materials and event-related communication such as Carlson Cares blogs
Provide general administrative support to the marketing and outreach team

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
