Hospitality Marketing & Private Events Manager

An established, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue in the St. Louis area is seeking a hands-on, creative and highly organized Hospitality Marketing & Private Events Manager.

This position will oversee the venue’s marketing activities, digital content, promotions and private-event sales and coordination. The right candidate will be equally comfortable developing marketing campaigns, creating social media content, responding to event clients and working inside a fast-paced hospitality environment.

This is not a remote or desk-only marketing position. The successful candidate must be willing to spend time inside the venue, understand the guest experience and work collaboratively with management and operations teams.

Primary ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Brand Management

Develop and maintain an organized marketing and promotional calendar.
Create and publish content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
Capture and edit photos and short-form video content.
Promote weekly programming, sporting events, holidays, seasonal offerings and special events.
Manage email and text-message marketing campaigns.
Maintain current website content, menus, event information and online business listings.
Assist with online review monitoring and reputation management.
Coordinate paid digital advertising through Meta and other appropriate platforms.
Track campaign performance, customer engagement, inquiries and promotional results.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and professional visual presentation.
Work with beverage partners, vendors and outside organizations on promotional opportunities.

Private Events and Sales

Respond promptly and professionally to private-event inquiries.
Qualify prospective clients and determine their event needs.
Prepare proposals, event packages, pricing and agreements.
Conduct venue tours and follow up with prospective clients.
Coordinate event details, including menus, room setup, staffing, entertainment, vendors and timelines.
Maintain organized records of contracts, deposits, event details and client communications.
Communicate event requirements clearly to managers, kitchen personnel, bartenders, servers and vendors.
Attend selected events when necessary to support successful execution.
Develop relationships with businesses, hotels, event planners, wedding professionals and community organizations.
Identify opportunities to increase event bookings, repeat business and event revenue.

Promotions and Guest Experience

Develop creative promotions designed to increase customer traffic, engagement and sales.
Assist with watch parties, holiday celebrations, theme nights and sponsored activations.
Collaborate with management on programming and customer-experience improvements.
Monitor brand presentation and promotional execution throughout the venue.
Support occasional high-volume weekends and major special events.
Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and recommend improvements based on performance.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality marketing, event sales, restaurant marketing, nightlife, hotels, entertainment or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing business social media accounts and creating digital content.
Ability to capture quality photos and videos using a smartphone or camera.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, clients and projects simultaneously.
Professional and responsive approach to client communication.
Comfortable working in a busy restaurant, bar or entertainment environment.
Availability for occasional evenings, weekends and special events.
Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite and email-marketing platforms.
Familiarity with digital advertising, analytics, SEO, SMS marketing and AI-assisted content tools is preferred.
Experience with private-event sales, catering sales or hospitality operations is strongly preferred.

It requires consistent execution, strong promotions, timely client communication, attention to the guest experience and the ability to turn marketing activity into measurable traffic, bookings and revenue.

We are seeking someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, follows through and is comfortable moving between marketing, sales and event operations.

Position Details

Full-time position.
Primarily on-site in the St. Louis area.
Approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility based on events and business needs.
Occasional evening and weekend availability is required.
