Overview
The Marketing & Growth Specialist is responsible for leading, executing, and optimizing all patient-facing marketing efforts for the organization. This role oversees the full patient acquisition lifecycle—from awareness to conversion and retention—ensuring that marketing efforts are strategic, measurable, and effective. Our target audience is the abortion-minded woman.
This position blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution, combining data-driven decision-making, vendor management, content oversight, and community outreach to drive patient growth and maximize impact.
The role works closely with leadership, third-party partners, and community organizations to ensure consistent messaging, strong referral pipelines, and continuous improvement in marketing performance.
Core Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy, Execution & Performance
Develop and lead a comprehensive patient marketing strategy targeting women most in need of services
Plan, execute, and continuously refine marketing campaigns across digital and community channels
Analyze performance data across all channels and make strategic adjustments
Identify opportunities to improve patient conversions and reduce drop-off points
Ensure alignment across messaging, campaigns, and platforms
Patient Journey & Conversion Optimization
Oversee and optimize the full patient journey- from first contact to appointment completion
Develop and refine communication strategies including texting and retargeting campaigns
Improve appointment set rates, show rates, and follow-up engagement
Use data insights to continuously improve messaging and timing
Digital Marketing & Content Oversight
Manage and optimize the patient-facing website for user experience, accuracy and conversion performance
Lead social media strategy and execution across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok)
Ensure consistent content creation (3-5 posts per week or equivalent cadence) aligned with campaigns
Oversee creation of marketing materials including brochures, signage, and outreach content
Vendor & Platform Management
Serve as the primary contact for marketing partners (e.g., digital agencies, ad platforms)
Manage communication and performance expectations, and implementation of improvements
Evaluate vendor effectiveness and recommend changes as needed
Ensure accountability for results across all partners
Community Outreach & Referral Development
Build relationships with referral partners (schools, clinics, test providers, community organizations)
Identify and prioritize outreach activities that drive referrals
Represent the organization at events and community engagements
Develop clear outreach strategies with measurable outcomes and follow-up plans
Reputation & Brand Presence
Oversee online reputation strategy, including Google Reviews and public feedback
Monitor and respond appropriately to reviews and inquiries
Strengthen the organization’s visibility, credibility, and trust within the community
Tracking, Reporting & Insights
Develop and maintain systems to track patient acquisition sources and campaign effectiveness
Collect and analyze outreach, marketing, and event data
Prepare monthly reports for leadership and board with clear insights, trends, and recommendations
Maintain an organized marketing calendar and accurate records of all marketing activities
Prepare monthly board report to identify marketings opportunities and wins alongside strategy
Event Planning & Support
Capture content (photos, videos, engagement data) for marketing use
Support the organization with day of event duties and responsibilities
Provide support to the event marketing teams
Qualifications
A committed Christian who supports the mission and values of the organization
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related industry
2-5 years' experience in marketing, communications, or outreach with both strategic and executional responsibilities
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and performance analytics
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable improvements
Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
Experience working with vendors, platforms, and marketing tools (e.g., social media, website CMS, email platforms)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
