Marketing Intern-to-Hire

Protected Harbor is a Rockland-county IT Support and B2B Tech company that is looking for a summer intern to hire a coordinator for the marketing department. This will be only the second US hire for the Marketing department, and a great opportunity to help build the strategy and vision. You will not be answering phones or making coffee runs. Hire will have a substantial impact on marketing production. Responsibilities • Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will optimize the quality and consistency of our messaging on multiple platforms • Act as editor to proofread and copy-edit / line-edit website and blog posts • Act as social media coordinator to develop and implement our brand voice across all social channels • Work with freelancers to create engaging editorial content that will inform our readers, help them make important decisions about their finances, and provide long- lasting value • Tracking and analyzing content performance to continue driving visibility across search and social channels • Research, track and submit for relevant industry speaking opportunities, byline articles and awards.
