Marketing Legal Compliance Coordinator

Dealership: Compensation: $21.00-26.00hr DOE & location Responsibilities • Complete training on the subject matter and utilize notes and reference documents to assist in reviewing advertisements • With support from the team, verify the legal compliance of all forms of public communications coming from Lithia Motors and our dealerships • Maintain an existing file system that allows quick access to approved ads and evidence of approval • Maintain and update reference documents relevant to compliance review • Become an expert on federal and state automobile advertising laws • Maintain an existing reference catalog of state and federal laws • Cultivate awareness of relevant topics including TCPA Compliance • Become an expert on Do-not-call and Privacy laws • Perform periodic audits on Lithia dealership websites • When Lithia expands into new states, assist in researching state advertising laws and developing a compliance guide for reference • Make process recommendations • Proofread various LAD projects for spelling and grammar • Develop quick and simple compliance references for the creative staff The following knowledge, skills and abilities are needed to be successful in this position: • Advanced reading and research skills - An enormous amount of reading is required initially • Advanced business writing, spelling and grammar skills • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency • Must work effectively with internal and external teams • B.A / B.S Preferred but not required • Excellent communication skills; ability to work well independently and in teams • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel We offer best in class industry benefits: • Competitive pay • Medical, Dental and Vision Plans • Paid Holidays & PTO • Short and Long-Term Disability • Paid Life Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Employee Stock Purchase Plan • Lithia Learning Center • Vehicle Purchase Discounts • Wellness Programs
