This position would also be responsible for annual new product business plans, i.e., objectives, strategies, in support of targeted volume and profit goals. This position will be responsible for directing a cross-functional team to ensure their projects are effectively and efficiently managed and will require the ability to effectively direct outside agencies, e.g., research and packaging to ensure all aspects of the marketing plan are well thought out and detailed. • Directs all cross-functional duties in order to lead the development and successful implementation of new product introductions, including outside product development and marketing research consultants when needed. • Proactively interprets and applies consumer research studies, syndicated information and competitive intelligence to successfully developing marketing strategies for profitable brand growth • Directs the development of new product positioning and ensure consistent brand communication to the consumer. Must be able to travel as needed.
