Marketing Manager - Breakaway Presents

Position Overview

Breakaway Group is a premiere entertainment and music festival multimedia company that operates the largest independent touring music festival in North America, spanning 13 cities over 9 months in 2026. We deliver a premium two-day festival experience featuring top artists, immersive brand activations, and unforgettable fan experiences. Breakaway is seeking a highly motivated, data-driven Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, development, execution, and optimization of Breakaway Presents marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Media, the successful candidate will work closely with talent buying, ticketing, finance, creative, and operations teams to drive revenue growth, brand awareness, and fan engagement. Location: Columbus, OH; Charlotte, NC; Nashville, TN; or Los Angeles, CA.

Key Responsibilities
• Build integrated campaign plans for artist announcements, on-sales, promotions, and final-week ticket pushes.
• Own campaign timelines, creative deliverables, and channel alignment across paid, organic, email, and web.
• Forecast ticket pacing and proactively identify risks and growth opportunities in partnership with ticketing and finance teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with festival marketing, creative, influencer, PR, sales, and promotions teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
• Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok while owning budgets and performance metrics.
• Monitor ROAS, CPA, spend efficiency, and full-funnel performance, continuously testing creative, audiences, messaging, and placements.
• Strategize and support organic social content initiatives to drive awareness and conversion, partnering with social and creative teams.
• Manage email marketing strategy including segmentation, scheduling, A/B testing, lifecycle flows, and performance optimization.
• Oversee the Breakaway Presents website with responsibilities for homepage updates, landing pages, ticketing integrations, pixel tracking, and conversion optimization.
• Track and report on KPIs such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and revenue, analyzing results and implementing real-time optimizations.
• Coordinate creative asset needs, timelines, and production workflows while supporting evolving business objectives as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• 4–5+ years of experience in digital, performance, or growth marketing.
• Proven experience managing paid advertising platforms, including Meta, Google, and TikTok.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and website management.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and optimization skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong project management ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and comfort with navigating change and evolving priorities.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is preferred.
• A passion for music, festivals, live events, and culture.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
