Job Description The Innovative Healthcare Institute (IHCI: innovativehci.com) is seeking a marketing manager to lead the marketing efforts for all aspects of the company, which primarily includes publication of medical journals and healthcare news as well as educational / training events. The company is young and growing quickly, so the ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-starter, and able to grow with the company. The position of Marketing Manager comes with an incredible amount of ownership and possibility to have a major impact in shaping the future of the Institute. Job Title: Marketing Manager Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219 Status/Hours: Independent Contractor / 10–20 hours/week Reports to: IHCI Director Job Responsibilities · Develop a marketing strategy to increase awareness and advance the mission and goals of the organization · Generate revenue for the organization through sponsorships, advertising, and other types of partnerships · Maintain databases and profiles for all existing and potential clients · Reach out for new clients and explore new markets for IHCI · Manage multiple social media accounts · Create and update marketing materials · Oversee financial transactions and agreements related to marketing and advertising Requirements · Required – Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in marketing or a related field · Required – Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe suite (mainly Acrobat, Photoshop) · Required – 3 years of marketing experience including social media, content marketing, and event marketing · Required – 1 year of experience in healthcare, medical, or research · Preferred – CMS, HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills · Advanced relationship management and interpersonal skills · Goal oriented and self-starter, takes initiative and accountability for projects · Ability to work independently, without close supervision, as well as within an international team environment · Ability to set one’s own priorities and work schedule · Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks as needed · Ability to be flexible and meet deadlines · Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy · Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills · Maintain confidentiality of information and proprietary data Job Types: Part-time, Contract
