Core Responsibilities • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy • Own the voice, image, and branding consistency of WFT • Schedule and manage all platform posting 2 weeks out • Create and edit video content • Create graphic content when needed • Coordinate and manage freelance video editors and designers • Build marketing funnels to drive ticket sales, registrations, sponsorship sales, and merchandise • Analyze performance metrics and optimize growth • Travel to WFT tournaments to capture and publish live content • Work alongside the WFT team in person in Lexington • Maintain professionalism and strong energy in all public interactions • Deep understanding of short-form content strategy • Experience building sales funnels and marketing campaigns • Understanding of paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok) • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong communication skills • Professional appearance and positive energy • References and portfolio of previous workPreferred Skills• Experience in sports marketing • Experience in live event marketing • Familiarity with streaming software (OBS, broadcast production environments) • Experience managing influencer or sponsorship campaigns • Understanding of community building and niche markets This role requires travel to 4 U.S. tournaments per year and 1 European event. All travel expenses are covered.We are not looking to fill this position quickly. Base compensation starts at $60,000 per year and is negotiable depending on experience and value brought to the organization.
