Marketing/ Sales Specialist

Chesapeake Nautical Cruises provides Yacht Services & Management, Captain Services, Yacht Sales, and Charters. We are looking for a driven and pro-active self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and experience working with customers by phone, email and in-person. The Marketing & Sales Specialist will also manage private yacht charters, special event public cruises, event/charter promotion, logistics planning, bartender and catering, and onsite event coordination. The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly and can execute in an environment characterized by endless fun opportunities in the boating industry. Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years experience in the marine industry 2+ years of marketing experience Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data Experience in sales or marketing role Experience in e-mail marketing and digital marketing Proficient PC skills (Windows, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills Analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast paced workplace and be flexible with a work schedule Bachelor's degree in a marketing/business-related discipline Familiarity with yacht sales/charters/cruises/boating industry Familiarity working with yacht brokers Familiarity with website content management systems Familiarity with social media management Familiarity with digital advertising
