The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator is a marketing and social media professional with experience in the hospitality and golf industries. This position will plan and produce innovative social, web, email, and print content while overseeing the marketing activities for The Gate Golf Club. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement • Collaborate with the leadership team and Board representative(s) to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and customer inquiries using social listening techniques • Coordinate development of The Gate website and ensure content and copy are updated and accurate • Create compelling content including graphics, photography, and videos that resonate with our target audience • Manage and monitor social media tools like Hootsuite to schedule posts and performance metrics, content calendars, and provide strategic guidance for The Gate’s social presence while aligning them with web content and brand message • Own all brand marketing initiatives, including social media and digital marketing, to grow brand awareness and revenue goals for Oakwood Grill, The Pavilion outdoor bar, The Gimme concessions, The Bays practice range and the putting course • Be present for “Instagrammable Moments,” be present at various golf related events and restaurant activations and photograph or video events to be used on websites or social media accounts • Collaborate on the strategic annual marketing plan and manage end-to-end strategy execution • Work with website partners to ensure proactive planning and strategy development to achieve monthly and yearly website and digital media KPIs including SEO, SEM, Display and Social • Oversee CRM strategy and monthly email marketing communication • Set standards for guests’ database growth and build multimedia campaigns to build communication with local and national databases • Develop and ensure the standards for digital and printed creative pieces and match brand guidelines including (but not limited to) email marketing templates, menus, images, videos, sales collateral, and any other promotional materials needed • Ensure The Gate is visible on all destination listings, niche websites, and tourism organizations • Responsible for seeking out and vetting applicable influencers to assist with business promotion • Conduct copy editing of all content to maintain high-quality standards before publication • Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages on the website and social media channels in a timely manner • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing and e-commerce • Keeping inventory photos current on the website Core Competencies • Strong writing, editing, and visual design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating social, web, and print work • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, email marketing platforms, content management systems, Google Business, and social media management tools • Working knowledge of analytics platforms, paid social campaign tools, and basic ad optimization • Effective decision-maker in a dynamic, fast-paced environment This job description is not intended to contain a comprehensive list of all activities, duties and responsibilities that are required.
