The Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives (OAEC) is seeking a candidate for the position of Advertising & Marketing Specialist. The Advertising & Marketing Specialist will be primarily responsible for generating and maintaining print and digital ad sales for • The Advertising & Marketing Specialist will report to OAECs Director of Public Relations & Communications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Recruit advertisers for print and digital platforms; • Maintain OKLs existing base of advertisers;Work closely with OKL staff to develop and implement a digital ad strategy;Develop an e-mail marketing campaign to communicate with advertisers and potential advertisers on a regular basis; • Maintain a comprehensive electronic advertiser database;Create a monthly activity report of advertising interactions and responses; • Work closely with editorial staff to adhere to advertising deadlines and approvals during the monthly magazine production schedule; • Work closely with OAECs accounting department to ensure timely advertiser payments as well as maintaining monthly ad sales sheets for billing purposes; • Coordinate the creation of an annual OKL Media Kit;Represent OKL and recruit new advertisers at various events where the magazine will be exhibited and promoted; • Coordinate with OKL staff to identify potential advertising opportunities with various story and contest related interests included in the magazines editorial calendar; • Serve as a liaison to American MainStreet Publications, an advertising cooperative;Help coordinate contractors for potential extension of sales; This job operates in a professional office environment.
