We deliver the trusted brands of Michigan’s largest audience, including the Detroit Free Press. The Marketing Specialist works to position and promote the brands and products of and the Detroit Free Press across all platforms and channels. This includes assisting with paid and organic social media, solicitation of runners, and event coordination, • Develop and manage relationships with outside media outlets such as TV and radio to get our talent, product, and events featured and grow audience on these platforms. • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop marketing strategies across social, digital, and traditional platforms for audience growth based on knowledge accumulated with newsroom relationships. • Prefer experience and/or knowledge of media solutions, marketing campaign development, event marketing, consumer events, and public relations.
