The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting the council’s internal and external marketing and communications efforts, including brand awareness, media relations, and content creation. This position supports recruitment, fundraising, and program visibility through digital media, publications, and public engagement to increase community awareness and participation in Scouting America programs. • Create and manage an annual marketing calendar to promote Scouting programs, recruitment efforts, special events, and council initiatives through print, digital, and social media channels. • Ensure brand consistency and high-quality design across all marketing efforts by utilizing tools such as Canva, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Equivalent experience in marketing or communications will also be considered.
