As a Marketing Specialist at Packt, you will drive growth by developing and executing strategies across events and newsletters targeting tech professionals with scalable traction. Your mandate includes building repeatable outreach systems, partnerships, and creator deals that drive net-new discovery, owned list growth, and profitable seat sales via go-to-market execution with vertical-specific paid events (workshops/bootcamps/conferences) accompanied by companion newsletters. You will own GTM execution planning publishing high-signal promo/content in sync with event/newsletter cadence including designing running integrated campaigns per speaker reveals agenda teases clips tool walkthroughs post-event recaps building managing partner distribution author/creator/community operators negotiating rev-share/list-share deals newsletter swaps co-hosted streams bring-a-friend bundles maximising net-new reach while maintaining profitability using tools like ChatGPT Claude Descript Whisper creating packaging workflows personalisation scheduling without sacrificing authenticity defining tracking KPIs such as email capture cost per attendee view?register register?attend conversion sponsorship pipeline value analysing performance refining copy offers partner mix channel sequencing translating audience signal into next experiments supporting blog Substack emailing optimised content driving owned list growth future seat sales coordinating contributor assets deadlines fuel pre/post-event campaigns documenting playbooks for partner outreach swaps post-event loops engaging communities LinkedIn Reddit Discord GitHub YouTube/Twitch monitor responding inbound comments DMs harvest FAQs content offers upholding community practices GDPR-safe norms.
