1905 New Media, an integrated marketing firm based in St. Louis, is seeking a Marketing Strategist to join our team. Job Responsibilities: • Strategize and define tailored campaigns to accomplish client KPIs by leveraging the expertise of all agency divisions, including website development, digital marketing, branding, public relations and direct mail/print • Facilitate comprehensive discovery on new clients and industries, while also consistently updating and maintaining a knowledge base on client industries to proactively identify and capitalize on new opportunities • Organize and facilitate collaborative brainstorming sessions with divisional leaders, internal teams and clients to foster strategic discussions and conceptualize creative integrated marketing campaigns • Analyze data reports and provide actionable recommendations to boost client engagement, increase impressions, enhance brand awareness, establish thought leadership and drive conversions • Review, edit and offer constructive feedback on diverse client deliverables, such as short and long-form content pieces, website sitemaps, website designs, keyword plans, video storyboards, ad campaigns, public relations pitches and other materials, to ensure high-quality work and maintain brand consistency • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing in order to provide thought leadership and drive innovation • Lead client meetings and provide marketing and business consultation to drive initiatives, support decision making and provide strategic focus • Contribute to the growth of the agency by actively participating in business development efforts, which involve upselling and cross-selling to existing clients • Provide support with team recruitment and oversee the training of new Marketing Strategists Qualifications: • 3+ years’ experience working as a Marketing Strategist, Marketing Manager, Marketing Director or equivalent role • Understanding of general agency processes and operations • Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, marketing or related field • Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and brand management, including an understanding of account based marketing, website development, social media, email marketing, public relations, search engine marketing and content marketing • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead client meetings effectively • Comfortability using AI tools for streamlining tasks, research and writing • A strong sense of accountability and a proactive mindset • Ability to identify problems and solve them quickly and efficiently • Upbeat, team-oriented attitude toward team members and clients with a desire to work in a collaborative and inclusive team environment Candidates must be located within the St. Louis area and will be required to work from the St. Louis office and attend in-person meetings periodically based on client and team needs.
