Marketing Strategist/Content Creator

Business Furniture + Co. is looking for a creative, digitally-minded storyteller who thrives on ideas, energy and bringing brands to life.

This role blends strategy and execution. You will develop ideas, create content and shape how the Business Furniture brand shows up across digital platforms, events, and client experiences. One day you might be filming a short-form video at a project installation. The next, you are helping host an event for architects and designers, capturing behind-the-scenes content, or brainstorming the next idea to keep our brand fresh and relevant. If you love trying new things, staying ahead of trends and creating memorable experiences, you will fit right in.

What You’ll Do

Content Strategy & Creation

Own and execute a digital-first content strategy focused on awareness and engagementCreate content across platforms (social, website, campaigns, email)Develop short-form video (LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms)Capture photos and video from projects, installations, events, and team momentsKeep our website fresh, relevant and engagingStay current on trends, tools, and new ways to connect with audiences

Storytelling & Brand Building

Capture and share client stories through interviews, case studies, and project highlightsShowcase our expertise, thought leadership, and partnershipsBring a clear point of view to how we show up in the workplace industryHelp evolve and elevate our brand voice across channels

Events, Experiences & Client Engagement

Support and coordinate events for clients, architects/designers (A&D), and industry partnersPartner with vendors, venues, and internal teams to deliver high-quality experiencesAssist with invitations, logistics, communications, and event-day executionBe present at events—hosting, engaging clients, and representing the brandCapture content to extend engagement beyond the eventContribute ideas that help Business Furniture stand out

Sales, Business Development & Client Support

Partner with VP of Marketing, VP of Design, and Business Development teamsCreate content and tools that support relationship-building and client conversationsTranslate insights into clear, compelling messagingSupport change management efforts by helping bring workplace transformations to lifeParticipate in tours, client experiences, and engagements as a brand ambassador

What You Bring

Strong storytelling instincts—you know how to spot and shape a great story2–4+ years of experience in marketing, content, communications, events, or a related fieldExperience creating across formats (video, social, web, presentations)Comfort using tools like Canva, PowerPoint, and social media platformsFamiliarity with (or curiosity about) AI toolsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesA creator mindset—curious, proactive, and idea-drivenPositive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever neededConfidence working across teams and engaging with clients Partner with VP of Marketing, VP of Design, and Business Development teamsCreate content and tools that support relationship-building and client conversationsTranslate insights into clear, compelling messagingSupport change management efforts by helping bring workplace transformations to lifeParticipate in tours, client experiences, and engagements as a brand ambassador

Requirements

Bachelor’s degreeMust live in Central Indiana and able to work in person Monday through Friday from Noblesville HQ. We do have a hybrid work environment with opportunity to work from home after training period, but we are only considering candidates who live in the Indianapolis/Noblesville area.

This position offers a competitive salary, annual performance bonus, opportunity for growth and development. Business Furniture's benefit plan includes 22 days paid time off, health and dental insurance 401k, short and long term disability.
