Description

Pearson is looking for a dynamic Marketing Strategy Specialist to spearhead the North American go-to-market strategy and execution for our portfolio of Clinical Education & Therapeutics solutions, including areas such as Behavior, Mental Health, Cognitive, and Therapeutics. In this pivotal role, you will set portfolio priorities and marketing direction, oversee campaign planning, and ensure successful launches that yield measurable outcomes across revenue, retention, adoption, and customer growth.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Clinical Experts, Educator SMEs, and Marketing teams to transform market insights into actionable strategies that enhance engagement, awareness, demand generation, and commercial performance across both B2B and B2C audiences in the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Marketing Strategy & Leadership (~45%)

Own the marketing strategy, governance, and prioritization across assigned Clinical Education & Therapeutics portfolios. Lead the annual and quarterly planning processes to align investment decisions and campaign priorities. Identify new growth opportunities in B2B and B2C markets, partnering with Product Management and Sales to develop effective commercial strategies. Develop integrated marketing plans that encompass digital campaigns, content, events, webinars, partnerships, and sales-led initiatives. Enhance value propositions, positioning, and competitive differentiation for clinical education and therapeutic audiences. Work alongside Sales teams to support territory planning and account-based marketing initiatives. Continuously monitor market trends, accreditation requirements, funding changes, and emerging opportunities within clinical education. Campaign Execution & Sales Enablement (~35%)

Lead comprehensive planning and execution of marketing campaigns from inception through launch, optimization, and performance evaluation. Develop engaging content programs to support customer awareness, evaluation, adoption, and advocacy. Oversee virtual event and webinar marketing strategy, including audience acquisition, registration campaigns, speaker coordination, and post-event engagement. Manage go-to-market execution for new product launches across Clinical Education & Therapeutics portfolios. Create scalable launch frameworks and effective launch-readiness processes. Generate sales enablement materials such as presentations, battlecards, and customer-facing content. Utilize project management tools to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with Clinical SMEs, Creative Services, and external partners to ensure content accuracy and compliance. Performance Optimization & Operational Excellence (~10%)

Establish campaign measurement frameworks, dashboards, and reporting processes. Monitor traffic, lead generation, conversion performance, adoption, and retention metrics. Drive continuous optimization through testing and audience refinement. Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Sales Operations to enhance campaign governance and reporting accuracy. Identify opportunities to improve processes and share best practices across the team. Partnerships & Market Engagement (~10%)

Build strategic relationships with clinical education organizations, associations, and influencer communities. Support conference and event strategies, including sponsorships, speaking engagements, and follow-up programs. Identify and execute co-marketing opportunities, webinars, and partnership initiatives. Gather and relay market feedback to inform future product strategy and customer engagement approaches. What We're Looking For

Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and integrated marketing campaigns. Strong background in collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and cross-functional teams to achieve commercial objectives. Expert knowledge of campaign planning, content strategy, and demand generation. Experience working with data, reporting, and marketing performance metrics. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong commercial acumen with an audience-focused mindset and evidence-based decision-making. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Experience in healthcare, clinical education, or complex B2B environments is highly desirable. Skills

Compensation: The minimum full-time salary range is between $75,000 - $90,000 per annum. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive program.
