A great work environment with competitive pay and benefits.Job DescriptionOutcomes: Enhanced community understanding and engagement regarding Safe Harbor's mission, vision, and values Statistical growth in Safe Harbor funding and volunteer base All employees feel connected and informed The Safe Harbor website remains current and relevant Campaigns run smoothly across all communication sourcesPrimary job Functions: Create content for and build engagement in Safe Harbor's social media platforms Review and utilize trending social media opportunities (hashtags, social media movements, etc.) Create a list of verified content sources for social media content re-use, and judiciously re-post relevant content as it aligns with Safe Harbor's communications strategy and initiatives Create proposals for engaging new communications platforms as they become available Regularly rotate content on Safe Harbor's website to position it as a go-to resource for community information regarding Safe Harbor Create, collect, and curate a digital library of image and video resources to be used for Safe harbor communications projects Collaborate with outside vendors and consultants regarding the creation and dissemination of assigned communications-related projects Work with ReSource Warehouse manager to develop a marketing strategy Direct the flow of information to employees, constituents, and the general public Participate in special projects or events to promote, advertise and create press releases Manage Marketing/Communication budget and assist in the preparation of the annual budget Produce press releases and send them to the appropriate media Analyze target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches Manage Direct Mail campaigns, newsletters, and impact reportEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required preferred At least five years of experience in marketingQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required preferred 3+ years of communication experience in a comprehensive or a comprehensive communications project portfolio Demonstrated experience with social media platforms and management tools Demonstrated experience with current marketing content creation and graphic design tools (Adobe, Canva, Creative Suite, etc.) Matthew 28:19,20 Encouraged to attend a local church whose beliefs are aligned with Safe Harbor's Statement of Faith Abstain from activities or addictions that have a detrimental effect on clients or the reputation of the ministry.
