The label is a 50/50 profit share and works with artists from around the globe and across genres from groundbreaking mainstays Tortoise, The Sea and Cake and Eleventh Dream Day to heavy outsiders The Body, Liturgy, SUMAC, and Lightning Bolt, to experimental/classical innovators like Matmos, Mouse on Mars, Oval, and Colleen to acclaimed guitarists Marisa Anderson, Glenn Jones and Sarah Louise. Project management • Attend all marketing meetings • Marketing timeline review with artists • Keeping Airtable schedule updated for that record and notifying artist of change in the schedule • Ensuring artists have notice and all the tools they need about announcements or posts related to their record inclusive of Timings for the day, what to post, links to content if stored on a Dropbox, images, tag information • Reminders on Day-of for socials posts including timing, etc, to ensure these go out – these can be reminders via text or email or in some cases both • Sharing positive stats on socials and the like with the artists • Following up on urgent press and or radio requests if needed thrilljockey.com - site maintenance making sure copy and image use is up to date and complying with current marketing approach • Adding news pieces to website (tours primarily) • Updating artist pages with new content (artist bios, photos, singles) for new releases • Weekly checks for top sellers and legacy artists • Add new tour dates to our tour documents and to the site • Until the new site launches, Out Of Stock check on new releases Direct to consumer marketing & mailers • Building and sending out the newsletter in DISCO • Importing new subscribers each week • Tour newsletters scheduled to radio, press, & retail • Cratediggers Playlist: building these across Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal Experienced applicants do not have to be Chicago-based, but should be based in a location with easy access to venues that our roster of touring artists would likely play.
