Here's what you’ll do: • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients through market research and networking • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including conducting sales presentations and negotiations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and proposals for clients • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business risks and opportunities • Utilize Salesforce or other CRM software to track sales activities, pipeline, and customer information • Create custom media plans using media planning software • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and market analysis Your experience: • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in radio and podcast advertising • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) • Must have strong experience in cold calling and pitching/presenting to new prospective clients • Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the software or technology industry • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Excellent strategic planning abilities with a focus on driving revenue growth • Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals • Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities • Familiarity of media planning (and applications), industry and measurement terminology. • Be a BIG FAN and listener of Radio and Podcasts • Be Extremely Creative and have a working knowledge and ability to write effective copy for radio and podcast Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • Podcast or radio sales: 3 years • Ability to commute to Orange, CA 92868
