Media Advertising Manager

In this dynamic position, you will work closely with our leadership team and the Advertising Committee to implement innovative strategies, optimize media plans driven by performance metrics, and ensure timely and budget-conscious execution of all media components. Assist in creating our annual marketing plan and budget for maximum impact.Draft detailed Marketing Briefs and lead kickoff meetings with internal teams and external agencies.Design and implement a comprehensive national/local tactical marketing strategy in collaboration with agencies, focusing on production and media placements.Oversee the marketing strategy for Grand Opening events, ensuring exceptional execution and continual optimization.Manage vendor relationships, negotiate for added value, and oversee agency reviews as necessary.Effectively maintain and track the advertising budget to ensure alignment with objectives.Identify and address marketing support needs within internal departments to ensure cohesive initiative alignment.Provide media support for sponsorships and events in accordance with outlined strategies.Conduct post-buy media analysis, ensuring invoice accuracy is confirmed prior to payment approvals.Establish performance metrics and hold our tactical plans and partner agencies accountable to key performance indicators.Lead production and media teams within a collaborative framework.Communicate and present marketing strategies, tactics, and performance outcomes to leadership and the Advertising Committee.Actively contribute to planning and production with our creative agency.Assist in planning our annual Leadership Conference.Stay updated on emerging marketing trends and technologies to refine our strategies as necessary.QUALIFICATIONS Required: Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Business Administration.Proven experience in crafting and delivering Marketing and Creative Briefs.Strong grasp of advertising principles, media buying processes, and market analysis.5+ years of hands-on experience in media buying.Understanding of media production and placement methods.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.5+ years of personnel management experience.Experience with managing large corporate advertising budgets.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Preferred: Experience in in-house radio production.Previous experience working in an agency environment.At O'Reilly Auto Parts, we foster a culture of growth and opportunity, emphasizing internal promotion and providing clear career advancement paths.
