This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented musician, create engaging video content, and connect with a vibrant fan community.Responsibilities:Video Content Creation:Produce a variety of video content, including shorts, long-form videos, and a weekly livestream for an independent musician.Demonstrate proficiency in video editing using Final Cut Pro X (or equivalent software), incorporating text effects, transitions, LUTs, and color grading for a polished and engaging visual experience.Showcase basic aptitude in lighting, framing shots, audio, and filming short videos, as well as live-streaming with multiple camera angles and audio sources.Ad Management & Promotion:Help plan, create, and monitor online ads (experience with ad platforms is a plus, but training can be provided).Assist in managing promotional campaigns across social media and streaming platforms.Analyze basic ad performance metrics and suggest optimizations.Merch Fulfillment and Projects:Assist with merch fulfillment, inventory management, ordering, and screen printing (no experience necessary).Collaborate on special projects related to merchandise and promotional campaigns.Social Media Management:Utilize familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) to promote the musician's brand and help engage with the audience.Moderate the fan club and engage with the community across various platforms.Create brand announcements and foster a positive and interactive online space for fans.Technical Skills:Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok).Basic video editing skills.Basic aptitude with lighting, framing shots, audio, and filming short videos.Some experience with merch fulfillment, inventory, ordering, and screen printing is a plus.Language Skills:Ability to generate ideas for short scripts, funny commercials, etc.Ability to write medium-length music reviews and entertaining essays for online content.Strong communication skills for fan club moderation and brand announcements.Familiarity with rock, metal, and industrial bands.Understanding of rock, metal, and industrial metal culture.Knowledge of vaporware music and internet memes.Awareness of internet trends and counter-trends.If you're passionate about music, possess the technical skills required, and have a creative flair for content creation, we'd love to hear from you.
