Position Overview: We are looking for a bright, positive and detail-oriented full-time Media Buying Assistant. In this role, you will support our media planners and buyers in executing, tracking, and optimizing advertising campaigns across various media platforms.

You do not need a background in advertising to succeed here. Instead, we are looking for someone who loves working with numbers, spots patterns easily, and brings an energetic problem-solving attitude to work every day.

Responsibilities: 

·       Campaign Support:  Assist with developing plans, ordering media schedules, day to day monitoring, and verifying media performance through post buys

·       Trafficking:  Provide "traffic" instructions to media vendors on which advertisements to air 

·       Financial Tracking:  Reconcile media invoices against purchased orders, resolve billing discrepancies, and assist with client billing

·       Vendor Communication:  Maintain positive relationships with media vendors

What We are Looking For: 

·       A Natural with Numbers:  You feel comfortable working with math, percentages, and can learn basic media formulas

·       Computer Savvy:  Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

·       Strong Communication Skills:  You can express ideas clearly both in writing and verbally

·       Meticulous Attention to Detail:  You double-check your work, catch mistakes and take pride in accuracy

Qualifications:

·       Minimum high school diploma

·       College degree preferred

·       Experience at an ad agency, media buying company, or T.V. station preferred

·  Salary is dependent on your level of experience
