**Overview and Responsibilities** Feld Advertising is looking for a Director of Media to oversee the media team and continue to build out the agency’s media capabilities. ● Ensure media plans deliver against business goals and client KPI’s ● Outlining desired team structure and scoping media projects to meet client needs ● Lead the overall media planning approach by linking media strategy and brand objectives ● Manage and anticipate client needs, identify opportunities for growth and performance optimization ● Experience negotiating with media vendors, networks, partners, and provide a final negotiated recommendation to the client (including linear and digital upfronts) ● Proficient with ad serving, programmatic, and social buying platforms and tools, with an ability to dive deep into the platforms to ensure buy management effectiveness and efficiency ● Ability to develop media recommendations for new business pitches and confidently sell in ideas ● Manage budgets across multiple initiatives ● Develop media POVs as needed in response to client and planning team requests ● Work and collaborate with other key agency and departmental leads in client services, creative, production, analytics, operations, finance, etc. ● Supervise and train members of the media team **Qualifications** ● 8+ years of experience in an agency or client-side marketing department with a proven track record of building and managing teams ● Extensive background planning, executing, and optimizing linear and digital media campaigns ● Experience working with, communicating to, and influencing senior-level clients.
