Media Planner

Candidates must possess 3-5 years of prior advertising agency experience. Develop integrated media strategies and plans for agency clientsInteract with the VP/Director of Media, Associate Media Director, and Account Director to strategize and problem solve communication challengesPossess a solid understanding of the external business and market dynamics of assigned clientsNegotiate and execute media buys for agency clientsWork closely with Account Executives to schedule and monitor all projectsFoster strong working relationships with third-party media vendorsDevelop comprehensive media performance reports in conjunction with the Associate Director of AnalyticsRoutine Tasks: Produce integrated media plans that include digital and traditional tacticsContact media vendors for proposals and estimatesPurchase paid media from media vendors in a cost-effective and sustainable mannerManage self-service media buying platforms across multiple clientsMake budget adjustments and optimizations in real-timeDevelop media performance reports that tie back to client marketing goalsWork effectively across internal creative, account, analytics, finance, and production departmentsEffectively handle multiple assignments simultaneouslyManage challenging situations both internally and with the clientSkills Required: Is an innovative thinker who embraces challengesIs self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong communications skillsPossesses the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projectsHas above-average organizational and time management skills.Is versed in fundamental media planning and buying conceptsHas experience managing self-service media buying platformsIs looking for a place to work that is busy, fast-paced, and high energySalary and Benefits: The salary for this role is between $50,000 and $60,000 annually depending on the experience and capabilities of individual candidates.
