Position: Media Planner/Buyer (Integrated) Integrated Media Planner and Buyer (hybrid)Media Works is looking for a Integrated Media Planner and Buyer with 3-5 years of experience. We have been in business for over 35 years and have a great diverse client list that has grown with us over the years. We create collaborative partnerships with our clients. Additionally, the buyer/planner is responsible for training and advising media coordinators, working with client teams, and managing workflow/deliverables/execution for each account.Position Requirements /ResponsibilitiesActs as liaison between media vendors, the client and the agencyKeeps strong pulse on new and emerging media changes and provides fresh ideas to grow clients’ business.Gathers, organizes & presents competitive and industry research as well as preparing market analysisDetermines best use of multi-platform media mix including traditional, digital/social media outlets to best meet clients goals and objectivesParticipation in client meetings for media plan presentation and strategizing sessionsManage day-to-day tasks associated with stewarding client-approved media plansHelps maintain positive relationship with the clientHas in-depth knowledge & understanding of Video, Print, Audio and OOH.Understands rating estimates (TV & Radio) as well as digital performance metrics/ KPIs measurementAvails media and negotiates best rates, CPM’s, CPP’s, special time parameters, value-added sponsor ships and promotions, bonus impressions, e-newsletters, etc.Builds the Radio & TV schedules, compiles digital media into digital planning documentMedia execution project management, including management of asset tracking/trafficking, process control and adherence, and quality control monitoringAnalyzes all post buys and works with stations to make up under delivery weight or impressionsPaces digital mediaWorks with internal team members to develop monthly performance reports and make ongoing performance optimization, strategy improvement, and best practice recommendations.Resolves billing discrepancies as neededProvides an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the overall media strategyOther duties as assignedSkillsMicrosoft Word, Excel, and Power PointExperience with media buying software, Strata a plus!Experience with digital ad serversExperience with Google AnalyticsExperience pulling media research from various sourcesExperience building target audiences and implementing social media campaignsAbility to multi-task/time management skills in a fast-paced & fun environmentStrong written and communications skillsThis is a full time opportunity based out of Baltimore, MD.Media Works believes that diversity of skill and background contributes to a strong culture.
