This role is intended for candidates located in the Boise area. Team members are expected to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday each week.

As a Media Planning Associate at Drake Cooper, you'll play an important role in helping our team develop and execute integrated media plans that connect brands with the right audiences. You'll partner with smart, supportive teammates across the agency, contribute to impactful client work, and gain hands-on experience in media strategy, planning, and campaign execution. Build and maintain media plans, media flows, and campaign strategies for client initiativesOwn the organization and maintenance of planning documents, budget breakdowns, timelines, reconciliation sheets, and related materialsConduct quality assurance reviews to ensure plans, placements, budgets, audiences, and tactics align with approved strategiesAssist with media research, audience insights, competitive analysis, benchmarks, and market trendsCoordinate project timelines, deliverables, and communication across Media, Account Services, Project Management, Analytics, Finance, and Buying teamsTrack planning updates, approvals, campaign launches, and key milestonesSupport budget pacing, documentation, and campaign organization throughout executionParticipate in planning, billing, and cross-functional team meetingsMaintain organized planning resources, trackers, and shared documentationDevelop strong knowledge of media strategy, audience targeting, and channel planning best practicesEmbrace AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and uncover insights while applying critical thinking, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring human oversight in all deliverables
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in advertising, media, marketing, media sales, or a related fieldStrong organizational, project management, and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Excel and/or Google SheetsComfortable working with budgets, timelines, and large data setsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving skillsInterest in media strategy, consumer behavior, and advertisingExperience with media research tools or planning platforms is a plus
