We’re looking for a motivated Advertising & Audience Development Salesperson to join our team at a respected community newspaper serving the vibrant and diverse Capital Region!

We’re more than a news platform — we’re the voice of our community. We cover local stories, culture, life, and events that matter. We connect readers, businesses, and organizations throughout the Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga region.

Your Mission:

You’ll help local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners reach an engaged audience through print and digital advertising, while also helping us grow our digital footprint — including our website, social media, and newsletters— to expand our reach and influence. We’re seeking to connect with business leaders who resonate with our mission, who think Western civilization is important.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain advertising relationships with local businesses and organizations

Create integrated ad campaigns across print, web, email, and social media
Drive audience development by helping grow our readership and subscribers
Explore creative ways to monetize digital platforms (sponsored content, email newsletters, online ads, social promotions)
Collaborate with our editorial and digital teams to expand our community presence online
Represent us at events, networking opportunities, and community gatherings

You’re a Great Fit If You:

Enjoy relationship-building and community networking

Have sales or marketing experience (media, digital, or community-based a plus)
Are creative, organized, and results-driven
Are excited about growing audiences through social media and email
