Media Sales Representative

You’ll build your own book of business in your local territory, on a schedule you control, selling advertising placements across BVM’s local print magazine and companion digital, social, and website products.Consult: Meet face-to-face with standout local business owners to showcase what makes their community great.Strategize: Build powerful, multi-channel branding programs using our media suite, print, digital, social, websites, and reputation management.Scale: Leverage our proven training and time-tested sales system to grow your own book of business, building community engagement that pays you and your community for years to come.What You’ll EarnThis is a 1099 independent contractor role with no base salary or draw (full commission). Representatives earn a recurring commission on sales, with commission rates generally ranging from 70-80% based on monthly sales volume and performance relative to the baseline * cost structure. Bonuses are available during start-up and on an ongoing basis. * Baseline is the back-end cost associated with the magazine & digital product’s cost to produce, distribute, bill clients, etc, and does not come out of the representative’s pocket.What You BringSales Acumen: A drive to help local businesses grow through the art of advertising sales, strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
