The Moorings Golf & Country Club is looking for a friendly, polished, creative, and highly organized professional to join our team as our Member Services & Communications Coordinator.

This is a unique position for someone who enjoys wearing a few different hats. The role combines Member Services, Marketing, and Digital Communications and offers the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility for the Club’s website, mobile app, social media, and overall Member communications.

As one of the first points of contact for our Members and guests, this person will play an important role in creating the warm, welcoming experience The Moorings is known for. At the same time, they will help tell the story of the Club through engaging communications, photography, social media, event promotion, and digital content.

What You’ll Do

Welcome Members and guests and provide exceptional, personalized service
Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, messages, and Member requests
Assist with dining, golf, event, and reciprocal reservations
Help Members navigate the Club website and mobile app
Coordinate daily information and communications between Club departments
Maintain accurate Member information and assist with general administrative responsibilities
Manage and update content on the Club’s website and mobile app (MembersFirst)
Assist with the Club’s social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Create and edit newsletters, email blasts, event promotions, flyers, digital signage, and other Club communications
Assist with photography and content creation at Club events
Maintain the Club calendar and help ensure Members receive timely, accurate information
Work closely with Club leadership and departments including Golf, Food & Beverage, Membership, Accounting, and Maintenance

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Warm, outgoing, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping people
An excellent verbal and written communicator
Creative and comfortable working with social media and digital content
Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
Comfortable balancing several different responsibilities throughout the day
Proficient with or willing to learn Microsoft Office, Canva, website platforms, mobile applications, and Club management software
Interested in growing into a broader marketing, communications, and Member Services role

Previous experience in hospitality, private clubs, customer service, administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred. Private club experience is a plus, but not required.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, generally scheduled Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

During a few busier periods throughout the year, the schedule may occasionally shift to Tuesday–Saturday, particularly when the Club is closed on a Monday or when Saturday activity requires additional support.

Pay: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience, plus full-time benefits.
