We offer a comprehensive suite of communications, digital marketing, and branding services for our restaurant, hotel/resort, travel destination, wine and spirits, and hospitality lifestyle clients.We are looking for a dynamic Manager, Social Media & Influencer Marketing in Chicago to join our team of versatile storytellers and marketers who are professionally dedicated to their passions for food, wine, and travel.Responsibilities:Offer client-facing strategy development and executionLead client accounts and projects with little to no supervisionAttend and lead client meetings (travel required), and actively participate in new business proposal development and presentationsDevelop and implement strategic direction for client accountsExecute and lead strategy, with focus on specialized areas such as copywriting, community management, pulling analytics, creating content calendars and coordinating with influencersConduct research, reporting, photoshoots, influencer list building and outreach, and lead drafting presentations/decksCopywriting such as community management, reports, recaps, influencer deliverable, paid social ads and decksAdvocate for the client, and proactively share results with client in a timely manner; engage with influencers and lead influencer campaignsLead search and the development of strategic partnerships and creative campaignsComfortable working independently and as part of a multi-functional teamAssist in managing the workflow of the teamEnsure client goals and deadlines are metAssess work performance of junior employees by mentoring and developing direct reports, empowering independent thinking and autonomy while learning in a supportive environmentRequirements:4-5+ years of experience with demonstrated success in a social media marketing setting; agency and hospitality experience is a plusExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work autonomously and with a teamExperience managing multi-layered projects and meeting deadlinesManages time efficiently and effectivelyPossesses creative and strategic outlook with an ability to executeKnowledgeable in social media and branded contentExperience engaging with senior executives on strategyProficient in Google Business applications, Microsoft Office Suite and other platforms such as Adobe, Canva and social scheduling sites in order to produce report results and create tools and templates for client workStrong creative skills with proficiency in capturing professional content for social media via mobile device or camera and has video and photo editing skillsAdaptable, solution-oriented, and resourceful when tackling challenges and obstaclesAn overall passion for the hospitality lifestyle industries - restaurants, travel/destinations/hotels, wine & spirits.
