Multimedia Advertising Executive

Our client seeks an experienced, full-time Multimedia Advertising Executive (MAE) to join the Herald’s highly successful and stable multimedia sales team, reporting to the Director of Sales, who reports to the CEO/Publisher. The successful candidate will drive advertising revenue for its award-winning, growing family of publications.The MAE will be responsible for maintaining and growing an existing book of business and acquiring new accounts through selling a range of dynamic, cutting-edge digital media products along with advertising-related products for the print newspaper and magazines. The successful candidate will be a team player with exceptional sales skills combined with high attention to detail, marketing savvy, and the ability to collaborate effectively.This position has a flexible hybrid schedule which requires frequent in-person contact with advertisers and prospects who are in Bucks and surrounding counties. It also requires very frequent contact with colleagues and visits to the main offices in Doylestown, which have resources and flex space to support the sales team.CompensationThe non-refundable draw is $60,000 with the potential to earn $100,000+, as sales are commission-based. The Herald also offers a competitive benefits package and 401(k) plan.Required ExperienceExceptional ability to drive media sales/advertising growthDigital sales experience, with digital media sales experience preferredExperience in consultative sales (pre-call research, in-person appointments, proposal writing based on needs analysis, proposal presentation, and closing sales)The ability to maintain strong existing client relationshipsEffective use of a CRMThe ability to work with clients to help them build and schedule ads under deadlines, in collaboration with the sales support team and design departmentA strong desire to bring positive energy to a great team of sales professionalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products and other internal systemsOther RequirementsFrequent in-person contact with advertisers and prospects in greater Bucks County#J-18808-Ljbffr
