Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Media Planner and Buyer with 3-5 years ofrelevant experience to join our media team. This role requires an individual with expertise inboth traditional and digital media, a strategic mindset, and the ability to effectively analyze andoptimize campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record inplanning, buying, and evaluating media across various channels, including digital, social, andtraditional media.Key Responsibilities● Strategic Media Planning:○ Develop and execute holistic media plans for a National Quick ServiceRestaurant brand with restaurants in Hawaii that align with both the National andHawaii marketing objectives and budget.○ Utilize provided data to target audiences and select appropriate media channelsto maximize reach and campaign effectiveness.○ Collaborate with other agency departments to ensure media plans complementcreative strategies and align with client goals.■ Account Service - Planning■ Digital Department - Setting up digital campaigns● Media Buying:○ Execute and negotiate media buys across digital platforms (CTV, StreamingAudio, Display, Social), terrestrial radio, linear TV, and print.○ Manage relationships with media vendors and negotiate rates to ensure costefficiency.○ Monitor, optimize, and adjust media buys in real time to maximize ROI.● Digital Media Expertise:○ Plan, buy, and analyze digital advertising campaigns across display, video,audio, social, and programmatic channels.○ Track digital campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionableinsights on an on-going basis from start to end of the campaign.● Performance Analysis & Reporting:○ Monitor campaign performance and optimize campaigns on an ongoing basis○ Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide comprehensive reports toclients and internal teams.○ Use data to inform optimization strategies and future media planning.○ Prepare post-campaign analysis and recommendations for continuousimprovement.● Budget Management:○ Manage and track media budgets effectively to ensure maximum ROI.○ Reconcile media invoices and ensure accurate billing.Key Qualifications● Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of media planning and buying experience, preferablywithin an agency setting.● Digital Expertise: Proven experience with digital advertising platforms and DSPs.● Channel Knowledge: Expertise across multiple channels including digital and traditionalmedia.● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionableinsights.● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectivelypresent strategies and results to clients and internal teams.● Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.● Interpersonal and Relationship Building Skills: Ability to build and maintain goodworking relationships with internal teams and media partners.● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a relatedfield preferred.● Proficiency with Media Related Software: Comfortable working with Microsoft Office,inclusive of Excel, media planning and buying software (i.e. Strata)
