Drive operating company specific marketing strategies and plans to address market opportunities and threats and collaborate with all functional areas of Marketing & Advertising to develop specific tactics that align with these strategies. Identify business objectives and provide recommendations for marketing and wellness strategies that best address those objectives and align with each OpCo’s needs. Develop strong relationships with regional and national marketing teams in the CPG community to maximize resources and funding from our trade partners; ensuring that vendors are aware of all customer engagement opportunities available to them and make Northeast Grocery their first choice for investment Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare stakeholders to design and activate Food as Medicine programs, expanding opportunities to improve community health while driving customer engagement in wellness Partner with OpCos, Promotions Analysts, Business Intelligence, Customer Experience and Merchandising teams to identify business opportunities and deploy creative problem solving to develop action plans that will address each opportunity Work as a team to identify and coordinate an annual calendar of overarching promotions such as seasonal campaigns, themed events, sweepstakes, etc. Develop B2B Marketing strategies and plans to support existing programs and identify new opportunities to grow B2B sales and partnerships Develop creative briefs to provide guidance to the Advertising team on creative objectives in alignment with each campaign and the respective OpCo’s brand Monitor market trends, competitive activity and industry best practices to inspire innovative marketing and wellness strategies and tactics that will resonate within the markets we serve.
