Office Manager The Office Manager is responsible for the day to day functioning of the office and oversees the development and growth of profitable new business and maintains outstanding relationships with the current customer base. Responsibilities include but are not limited to business development, project management, inventory control, employee supervision and overseeing all business operation dealing with the business development and office management function. Plan should be in writing with measurable objectives; • Ensure efficient and effective marketing, advertising and promotional planning to achieve BT Metal Sales and Fabrication’s adopted goal for increased customers; • Maintain and develop the organizational values and reputation in BT markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies; • Maintain inventory stock in collaboration with the Metal Fabrication Lead including but not limited to ordering, tracking, establishing turn rates and computing value; • In collaboration with the Metal Fabrication Lead provides the material costs for all project bids; • Oversees the normal business office operations including all project material, personnel documents, and financial records; • Ensures that the office procedures are efficient and productive in including but not limited to job orders, estimating, invoicing, bill collecting and legal requirements; • Manages all business operations for Cunningham Industrial Park including renters, insurance, taxes and interfacing with rental agencies; and • Represents BT Metal Sales and Fabrication at community events, conferences, business outreach events when assigned. MANAGEMENT • Participate with the management team in the establishment of long-range objectives and the strategies and actions to achieve them; • Participate in the monitoring, controlling and expenditure of resources both monetary and workforce. Specific attention given to inventory control, including but not limited to, stocking determination, turn rate and housing; • Assist in the development and creation of new applications, systems or products that would enhance and expand BT’s market space and sales; • Develop and build teams encouraging the building of mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members; • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others handling complaints settling disputes; • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships developing constructive cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time; and • Communicating with people outside BT Metal Sales & Fabrication, representing the Company to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
