Role Description The Office Manager/Bookkeeper role is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time, and is a hybrid and on-site role based in Raleigh, NC. This role oversees day-to-day HR functions including payroll processing, office operations and basic accounting duties, including managing office supplies and equipment, coordinating administrative workflows, and maintaining organized records and filing systems.

The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as A/R and A/P, invoicing, expense tracking, and supporting budget monitoring in collaboration with leadership and external accounting resources.

Daily responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones, responding to email inquiries, and ensuring a professional and welcoming office environment for clients and team members. The role also supports internal communication, scheduling, and project coordination to help keep the agency running smoothly and efficiently.

Compensation Starting at 25 dollars per hour, with higher pay available based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule 20 to 25 hours per week to start, with opportunity to grow into full-time. Hybrid - Work From Home with on site Office Time as well.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Organization, Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.Candidates should possess solid HR Management experience, Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills to manage payroll, benefits, schedules, records, and day-to-day office operations.Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Office Equipment and related tools to ensure smooth functioning of the workspace.Candidates should have basic bookkeeping skills, including invoicing, expense tracking, and familiarity with QuickBooks Online accounting or bookkeeping software.Relevant qualifications include prior experience in office management or administrative roles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office and Google Workspace) and comfort learning new systems and tools is highly beneficial. Familiarity with Wrike and agency experience is a plus.5+ years of experience is required; additional coursework or certification in bookkeeping, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
